Charities

Peter Alliss' "pet" charities are both connected with powered wheelchairs for disabled young people. The Alliss Masters' Wheelchair Classic holds its final at Elie in Scotland every year, following national elimination competitions, open to every club. The Salterns Alliss Masters is an annual event held at Ferndown Golf Club, again supporting handicapped young in the Hampshire/Dorset area. These have both been running for over 20 years.

He is patron of the Blind Golfers Association, DebRA (fighting the terrible skin disease of the young, epidermolysis bullosa), Battle of Britain Historical Society (their Trophy competition is run nationally at supporting clubs), the Prostate Project, the Wildlife Ark Trust (saving the red squirrel). Peter is also a supporter of many other charities.
